This foot path begins in northern part of Moravian Karst at Skalní Mlýn (The Rock Mill). It goes on among the road to the Kateřinská jeskyně (Katherine Cave), from here it goes up to the Stěna Vycházejícího Slunce stand (The Cliff of the Rising Sun) and over the Křenkův památník (Křenkův Monument) it verges to Suchý Žleb (The Dry Valley). The next stop following here is the Korálový závrt (The Coral Sink hole) going to Srnčí jeskyně (The Roe Deer Cave). Beyond this stop it is opening to your eyes the famous Macocha Abyss. It has been, for many centuries, the last place for rest of people, who ended up their lives at the cliffs in depth of 138 m. The next steps of this foot trail leads you to view point called Koňský spád (The Horse Drop). Close by this place there is a path called Salmova stezka (Salm`s foot trail) coming down to Pustý žleb (The Desert Valley). There you can see the picturesque Čertova branka (The Devil`s Gate) which leads you to the lower stop for cable car. The entrance for Punkva caves follows also with its quay for underground cruise. In the end, follow the manycoloured ecological train which goes to the begin of your walking in Skalní Mlýn (The Rock Mill).
The foot trail starts at industrial town Adamov and terminates close by Býčí skála (The Bull Rock Cave). There on this your journey you can find out the romantic part of Josefovské údolí (The Joseph`s Valley). The valley is also known with its underground factories, running here during 2WW. Beyond the Huť Františka (Frances Smeltery) is the path going to the cave labyrinth called Jáchymka (The Joachym cave). It is allowed to go in to this cave. Please, follow the instruction on the stands and take yourself a torch or rope. Be careful in cave! Then, go around the place, where the water of Jedovnický potok (Jedovnický river) coming out after its 12 km journey in limestone massive. You will finally find the archeological site. The way back is possible around Malá Macocha (The Small Macocha) and walking the Babická plošina (The Babice Plateau) you can also visit The Máchův památník (The Mácha Monument) and Nový Hrad (The New Castle).
This journey goes from Jedovnice Squre. Follow the right embankment of the Olšovec (The Lake Olšovec) to the Budkovan (The Lake Budkovan) and beetwen them go back following left embankment to the outskirts of Jedovnice. There is a small pond called Dymák. Here it is where Jedovnický potok Valley began (The Jedovnický River Valley). The foot trail leads you around Salmova Huť (Salm Smeltery) to Rudické propadání. Water here is coming into the caves for its 12 km long journey and than it coming out close by Býčí skála (The Bull Rock Cave). The steep hill will lead you to famous archeological site Kolíbky (The Cradles) where you can find a wild amphitheatre. Than go to the Rudice village. There is wellknown windmill with its Museum of The Caves. You can also visit the geopark. The last part of this nature foot trail will lead you over Klímovy závrty (Klímovy sinkholes) back to Jedovnice.
This foot trail lays in southern part of Moravský Kras (Moravian Karst) an goes into Říčka Valley. As late as 1990, there was a cave open to public in here. It was the fifth cave open to public in whole Moravian Karst. The Ochozská Cave, called like village nearby. Due to frequently flooding, it was finally closed and the only information about it is on the information desk. This nature foot trail Říčky begins in Ochoz u Brna (Ochoz by Brno). There is also campsite called Hádek (The Small Snake) in past. This trail goes in picturesque valley of the Říčka river over Ochozská jeskyně to Pekárna Cave (The Bakery Cave). Than, there is a steep hill to Hostěnice Sinkholes and through the woody valley you can go back to Hádek.
Your exploration in the Moravian Karst could start from bike. This protected
area is connected by many trails for hiking and cycling. All tracks go
through most attractive places and it is easy to go for all avocational
tourists.
